iCloud is Apple’s cloud-based data storage service, which automatically saves and synchronizes data across all your Apple Devices. iCloud is for Apple users and it works just like Google Photos in Android App, but there are some external and advanced benefits provides by the iCloud. With the help of iCloud, you can access your files on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, no matter which device held it originally.

iCloud sync photos and videos via the iCloud Photo Library. Once you enable the iCloud Photos option, images and videos added to the Photos application on any of your devices are automatically combined into a single and uploaded to iCloud for remote access.

How to Access iCloud Photo on an iPhone or iPad
If you want to access iCloud photos on your iPhone or iPad so don’t forget to enable the iCloud photos on your device. After that only you will be able to do so:
- Open Photos app on your device and select Library at the bottom of the screen to view all your images.

- Select the Albums to tap to view all your Albums and the content inside taken on either your iPhone or iPad and stored on iCloud.

Note:
On iOS 13 or earlier, after enabling iCloud Photos, you should see the “All Photos” album instead of the usual “Camera Roll” in your Album tab. If you can see it, it means that you have your photos in iCloud storage. If you still see “Camera Roll”, then iCloud photo sync in not enabled, and you can only view the photos stored on your devices.
How to Turn on iCloud Photos
- Go to setting > (your name) > iCloud
- Click Photos
- If you need to, click to turn on iCloud Photos.

How to Access iCloud Photos on Mac
If you want to access your photos and videos on Mac through iCloud, as well as see the ones from your other devices, then you will first need to enable the iCloud Photos settings. Here’s what you need to do:
Go to System Preference > iCloud then make sure the tickbox next to Photos is filled in. Click the Options button to the right of Photos and select iCloud Photo from the window that appears and click Done.

Now the Photos app should sync all the images from your Mac, as well as show you all the media files from devices that are logged in with the same iCloud account.

How to access iCloud photos on the iCloud website
If you don’t have your device and want to access iCloud photos so don’t worry you can still access your photo from the iCloud website. To do so;
Open iCloud.com in a web browser and it will ask you to login with your Apple ID if you haven’t logged in.

Now once you logged in, click “Photos”. You will see all your photos taken on your iOS and iPadOS devices. You can also use the navigation pane on the left side of the web page to search, browse, and filter your photos.

How to Download Photos from iCloud
You’re all photos saved in original format in iCloud and when you want to download it from iCloud then Photos will be downloaded on your phone in the original size. Before we go ahead, make sure that you have enabled the iCloud Photos on your device. Let’s see what you need to do to download photos from iCloud on the iPhone or iPad.
Go to Setting on your iPhone or iPad > Click on Apple ID. Select iCloud and then Photos. Click Download and keep Originals.

Note: Once you click Downloads and Keep Originals, all new media files will automatically be downloads to your iPhone or iPad in their original size without your confirmation.
How to Delete Photos from iCloud
If you delete a single photo or more than one photo that is synced to iCloud from your device you can do that easily using the Photos App. However, this will delete from your device too. Start the Photos app and find the photo you want to delete, then:
Go the iCloud, and click and hold the photo until the pop-up menu appears, then click “Delete”.

If you want to delete several photos at once, tab “Select” at the top right of the screen, then click on each photo you want to remove. Once you have selected, click the trash can icon at the bottom-right of the screen.

Note: once you deleted the photos from iCloud this will delete photos from your device too.

- Click Setting >Your Name, and click iCloud. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to settings, then scroll down and tap iCloud.
- Scroll down, tap iCloud Backup. Tap Backup, and make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.
- Now, click Back Up Now and stay connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process completes.
- Make sure that the backup finished. Go to settings > your name >iCloud >iCloud Storage >Manage Storage, then select your device-you can find the backup in the details with the time and backup size.

How to backup automatically with iCloud Backup
If you want automatically backup with iCloud you just need to follow some easy steps. Before going ahead make sure that your iCloud backup is turned on. Read on:
Go to Setting >Your Name>iCloud>iCloud Backup. Connect your device to a power source and connect your device to a Wi-Fi network. Make sure that here your device’s screen is locked. Check that you have enough available space in iCloud for the backup.

How to backup iTunes
Many consumers are more familiar with iTunes because this what they use to buy apps, music, and books from the Apple Stores. To back up with iTunes, plug your iPhone into your PC or Mac, open iTunes, and sync your files between your PC and Man and iPhone. You cannot copy files to the using iTunes.
Open iTunes and connect your device to your computer. If a message asks for your device passcode or to trust this computer, follow the onscreen steps.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod when it appears in iTunes.
