Nuisance calls are headache for the modern age. But thankfully, each modern device now a days comes with an option of blocking the unwanted contacts and enable the users to cut themselves from the people the do not want in their lives.

Earlier blocking a number was a jail breaking task but now it can be done with a click of a button.

Here are the ways to block a number on Iphone , android , samsung and whatsapp.

How to block a number on Iphone

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap on the Recents tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click the ‘i’ symbol next to the unwanted number.
4. Scroll down and tap Block this Caller. 
5. Confirm your decision.
6. You won’t be bothered with any calls, texts or FaceTime calls from that number.

Alternative way to block a  number on iphone

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap Phone.
3. Tap Blocked Contacts
4. You’ll see your list of blocked callers. If you want to add a new one, tap on Add New…
5. You will need to scroll through your Contacts list to pick the number to block

How to block a number on whatsapp

1. Open the chat with the person you want to block.
2. Tap on the name of the contact.
3. Scroll down and click the option of “ Block Contact “.
4. Confirm by clicking on “ Block “.

Alternative way to block contact on whatsapp

1. Click on settings.
2. Tap on “ Account “.
3. Tap on “ Privacy “.
4. Click the option of “ Blocked Contacts “.
5. Add  the contacts you want to block.

How to block a number on Android

1. Open the Phone app and view your recent calls.
2. Tap the phone number you want to block.
3. Tap “ More “ or “ Info “ option by clicking on the three dots on the side.
4. Click the option “ Block “ or “ Block Contact “.

How to block a number on Samsung

1. Open the Phone option.
2. Click “ Recents “.
3. Tap on the “ i “ option under the number.
